300 episodes. Almost six years of The Diet Diaries. And a pretty fucking incredible full-circle moment that I never saw coming.
Last week, I taught my first in-person yoga class since March 2020. After nine years of teaching and nearly six years away, I found myself back doing something that had been such a huge part of my life.
But this time, something was different.
I realized that the movement work I spent almost a decade teaching and the body image coaching I've spent the last 5.5 years doing fit together in a way I hadn't fully understood until now.
And holy shit, I'm excited about it.
In this episode, I'm sharing:
* Why I walked away from teaching yoga and what unexpectedly brought me back.
* The moment I realized I'd found a bridge between two huge parts of my life's work.
* How movement can help you feel more comfortable in your body, even when you really don't like how it looks.
* Why you don't have to wait for weight loss or a different pants size to change how you experience your body.
* What coming back to yoga taught me about change, growth and why progress isn't a straight line.
If you've ever thought, "I'll feel better in my body when I lose weight," this episode is going to give you a completely different way to
think about what's possible right now.
And yes, we're talking yoga. But not the bendy, pretzel, stand-on-your-head kind.
Come for the yoga. Stay for giving less fucks about what size pants you wear.
